TOM DIXON ACCESSORIES BROCHURE
With a rapidly expanding accessories collection, British furniture and lighting brand Tom Dixon needed a mini-catalogue that highlighted an edited selection of their quirky and eclectic objects. Taking inspiration from a collector’s cabinet of curiosities, the A7 brochure featured a clean horizontal layout and was compact enough to fit inside all packaging.
Red By Wolves AW13 CAMPAIGN IMAGES
For their AW 13 collection, footwear brand Red By Wolves moved the entire production of their shoes to England. To emphasis the quality of the shoes, made entirely by hand by in Northamptonshire, we opted for a minimal aesthetic with an established, matt palette that complemented the richness of the leather.
Kurt Geiger Invite and Press pack
To celebrate the opening of their new store in the heart of New York’s West Village, Kurt Geiger held an exclusive fashion week party in the ‘secret’ garden of their Bleecker Street shop. The invite featured an original illustration by Masha Karpushina, while the reverse was suitably enigmatic, with the details embossed on a white-on-white textured stock.
Kurt Geiger Lookbook
Continuing the dictionary theme established by their launch press material, we created a lookbook to accompany the new Kurt Geiger US press website, where journalists and members of the press can log in to access collections, information and images. A pack of eight A6 cards showcasing the A/W 13 season’s hero shoes, were folded within a sleek white folder with black embossed glossy detail.
Kurt Geiger Dictionary
For their launch in the US, we gave the classic English dictionary a Kurt Geiger spin, playing on the linguistic differences in footware in the UK and the US. A pack of crisp white cards – complete with glossy scarlet thumb tabs – outlining the Kurt Geiger brand family were sent out to the US press, neatly encased in a white paper folder.

Taking sport as a cue, Foundry designed a seasonal edit of Kurt Geiger’s S/S 13 women’s collection that channelled the energy and exhilaration of the athletics field. Foil soft drink packets and a streamlined lookbook give it some ‘go faster’ attitude.
Decorex Rebrand of interior design show
Foundry provided creative direction for Britain’s longest-standing interior design event. In keeping with the quality-led direction of the fair, the design needed to be both luxurious and modern. It required core elements that were versatile enough to be used across various media and environments – such as marketing mail-outs, exhibition signage, adverts and posters, as well as digital channels like smartphone apps, tablets, and html emailers – while standing together as a confident, cohesive identity. The organisers also wanted a new website that would attract and retain visitors; Foundry’s solution was a visually engaging site that utilised video, image galleries, a blog and social media, enabling Decorex to develop an editorial channel for the brand.

For the men’s S/S 13 collection, Foundry produced a promotional edit with a strong graphic identity and shoe montage imagery to accompany Kurt Geiger’s digital lookbook on their press site.
Liberty Press invite
Putting Liberty’s iconic building centre stage, this press invite for the store’s ‘Christmas in July’ pre-season Christmas press event brings the Arts & Crafts exterior to life by rendering it in die-cut hand-assembled layers, highlighted with foiled detail. Posted flat, the invite ‘pops-up’ when opened. Gold foil provides a festive touch, while a touch of purple foiling picks out the details and adds an unseasonal twist.
Kurt Geiger Autumn/ Winter 2012 lookbook
Kurt Geiger’s women’s A/W 12 collection channelled a punky, rebellious feel whichwas reflected in the window design and printed material. A mini-lookbook to accompany the new digital lookbook took the shape of a folded poster, while details such as retro sherbert packets showed the fun-loving side to punk.
Red By Wolves Rebrand, lookbook and ad campaign
Complete rebranding of up-and-coming shoe label, including a lookbook showcasing both new season and classic Red By Wolves shoes. Building on the brand’s established reputation for quality, tradition and classic English styling, the ad campaign set the shoes amid an enchanting Lilliputian world created from vintage etchings. Two posters were loosely folded in the the centre spread.
Kurt Geiger Website and digital lookbook
Foundry created and developed a press website for Kurt Geiger, giving journalists and editors easy access to the new season of shoes and accessories. Users can view the latest collections, create an edit of items to download, search within collections and download any of the full collections. They can also view seasonal lookbooks, trend alerts, and read current press releases. The site enabled a transition from bulky printed lookbooks to a fully integrated digital solution, complemented by a striking, slimmed down brochure of key styles.
Arnotts Stationery and packaging
Dublin’s iconic department store was given a dramatic facelift, transforming it from the grand dame of the city’s shops to a fresh and stylish retail destination. Working with Sanderson Studios and the Arnotts in-house team, Foundry created a new brand identity that combined a paired back of palette of blue and white while retaining the treasured Arnotts’ logo.

Foundry designed Kurt Geiger’s corporate stationery, including choosing a solid font for all corporate literature and documentation, and ensuring the new logo had maximum impact.
John Lewis Toy branding and packaging
A rebrand of John Lewis’ toy packaging. Working with Irving & Co, the result was clean and crisp, reflecting the department store’s focus on quality, while a bright colour spectrum and hand drawn elements introduce a bit of fun. For pre-school we collaborated with Monotype to develop a bespoke rounded version of Gill Sans for John Lewis.
The Private Clinic Window display
A pop art inspired window scheme for The Private Clinic, promoting laser hair removal offered by the clinic, which is based on Cheapside in the City. The client reported a 60 per cent increase in walk-in custom for laser hair removal in the first month since the scheme was implemented – an encouraging testament to the scheme’s impact!

Women’s lookbook featuring Kurt Geiger’s S/S 12 shoe and accessories collection. Following up the ‘Everything but the Dress’ launch lookbook, this spring preview is minimalist and fresh, with understated debossed branding on the cover and section dividers with pastel coloured edges.

Stationary, photographic cards and website for brilliant fashion/ beauty photographer Yael Fachler. Reflecting Yael’s bold and colourful personality and style, the branding uses sunny yellow highlights but keeps the photography centre stage.
The Idiots Are Winning RECENT POSTERS
Recent posters designed for collaborative nights with Disco Bloodbath and The Electric Elephant Festival’s launch party. The challenge was to merge visual identities from the different collaborators but still give it an ‘Idiotic’ feel.
Liberty China Design Now Brochure and window display
Working collaboratively with the V&A, Liberty’s famous windows became a visually arresting installation by Michael Wolf, as part of the museum’s China Design Now exhibition. A high-contrast neon vinyl on the windows stands out from the colourful cacophony behind it, while complementing the contemporary feel of the exhibition. The brochure shown here accompanied the exhibition, and was also sent out to Time Out subscribers.

A collection of individual works by photographers,writers, artists, poets and designers, all inspired by the theme ‘brutal’. Printed on uncoated paper, folded and held together with an elastic band.

Liberty Signage and wayfinding
Working closely with Endpoint and Liberty head of visual Maxine Groucutt, the redesign of Liberty’s wayfinding system was vital in helping visitors navigate their way through the labyrinthine store. From the choice of typeface – the versatile and attractive Lexia – to adding the luxury touch of brass elements on the corners, the solution is congruous with the building’s historic fittings but contemporary enough to sit alongside Liberty’s high fashions

Liberty Exhibition design and press invite
Celebrating 70 years of Knoll design, the exhibition at Liberty encompassed a visual timeline, printed directly onto the wall in eye-catching, high-contrast colours. Continuing the use of vibrant red, the invitation was duplexed and blind debossed for a suitably subtle yet eye-catching finish.
The Idiots Are Winning Identity, branding and web design
Intimate quarterly club night featuring house music’s finest. Foundry came up with a visual identity that augments the organiser’s position outside of mainstream house events, including a customisable website which enables users to move elements around the screen. The website is a multifaceted hub, combining music, imagery, social media, information and details about upcoming events.
Liberty Liberty Exhibition Invite
As part of the London Design Festival, Liberty held an exhibition celebrating contemporary British designers who continue to design, manufacture and sell their products in Britain, titled Britain Can Still Make It. The invitation was designed to reflect the innovation and craft inherent in British design and was created by photographing a purpose-made Airfix model – made using a 3D rapid prototyping machine.

Promoting the summer-time beauty treatments on offer at The Private Clinic, a leading non-invasive cosmetic treatment clinic based on Cheapside in the heart of the City.
Liberty Ronnie Wood Limited edition Lookbook
Showcasing a collaborative collection between Tamara Salaman (Creative Director, Liberty of London) & Ronnie Wood, this limited edition book features a beautiful bespoke hand binding. Designed to reflect the collection, it is tactile and highly luxurious.
Nine West Autumn/Winter 2011 Lookbook
A Canadian-bound Nine West lookbook featuring a pocket on the inside flap to hold an additional concertina fold out promoting a collaboration between Giles and Nine West.
Liberty VIP Invites
This 0.8mm thick, acid-etched A5 slab of brass was hand delivered to VIP invitees to Liberty’s store ‘Renaissance’ redesign party. Utilising the new zebra motif on the front, the back was polished to a highly reflective sheen. Even the envelope was delicately embossed with a feathered, pony-skin effect.

A press invitation to Liberty’s edited menswear collection. Printed back to front on bible-thin paper, the bold design is revealed when held up in daylight.
Kurt Geiger press package
A package to be given to members of the press to introduce Kurt Geiger’s ‘Everything but the dress’ range of accessories. Using a pure white box accented with white ribbon, lucky recipients found items from the range inside, as well as the lookbook.
Liberty christmas poster
Liberty chose a fun, circus theme as the basis for their Christmas identity, with the store transformed into a carnival of colour – ‘The Greatest Show on Earth’. This promotional project was a poster on one side with an all-singing illustration by the talented Shaun Mills; the other side was a gift guide featuring a range of Liberty goods.
Liberty Denim fit guide book
Designed to reflect the industrial vibe of the store’s denim department, this jeans guide was printed on heavy-duty recycled paper, with a treated canvas cover and bound with bespoke, riveted steel binders. Completing the raw urban effect, they were then fastened to tables with steel chain.
